Educational Qualification & Experience

Qualification
  • A degree in Geology or Applied Geology as a principal subject; or
  • A degree in Mining Engineering from any university established or incorporated by or under a Central or State Act in India, or from any other institution recognized as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956; or
  • A diploma in Mining Engineering from any university or institution recognized as above;
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
  • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
