Eligibility
- A degree/diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication) from a recognized university or institute.
- M.Sc candidates in relevant disciplines can also apply.
- Other specific qualifications as per official UPSC notification.
Pay Scale
- Junior Level (Entry): Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay 5,400
- Senior Scale (5–6 years): Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay 6,600
- Junior Administrative Grade (10+ yrs): Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay 7,600
- Selection Grade/Chief Engineer: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + Grade Pay 8,700
- Super Time Grade/Additional GM: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + Grade Pay 8,700
- Apex/Cabinet Secretary Grade: Rs. 80,000–90,000 (Fixed)
