Qualification & Personal Profile
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in management, information systems, public policy, economics, or related discipline.
- Strong research background in digital technologies, open-source software, data governance, or related areas.
- Expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, statistical techniques, and/or qualitative research methods.
- Track record of publications in academic journals and conferences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team with strong organizational and time management skills.
Key Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge and experience in emerging technologies, digital innovation, and digital public goods.
- Experience in securing research funding, managing research projects, or engaging with stakeholders is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on digital public goods.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data using appropriate research methodologies.
- Develop research projects, proposals, and document DPI/DPG success stories.
- Assist in fundraising and establishing partnerships with stakeholders.
- Prepare research papers, reports, and publications for journals, conferences, and policy forums.
- Collaborate with researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts.
- Mentor junior researchers, research assistants, and students.
