Eligibility
- Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Practice in Criminal law for at least 10 years, 30 Sessions trials handled, good communication, leadership, ethical commitment, computer knowledge desirable.
- Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: 7 years in Criminal law, 20 Sessions trials, strong law knowledge, ability to guide juniors, IT knowledge.
- Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Practice in Criminal law for 1–3 years, good drafting, research & communication skills, IT proficiency.
- Office Assistant/Clerk: Graduation in any discipline, typing speed 40 w.p.m, computer knowledge, file maintenance.
Pay Scale
- Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 70,000/-
- Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 40,000/-
- Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 15,000/-
- Office Assistant/Clerk: Rs. 15,000/-
