Application Fee

  • General Candidates: Rs. 297.20/-
  • OBC / MOBC Candidates: Rs. 197.20/-
  • SC / ST / BPL / PwBD Candidates: Rs. 47.20/-
  • Payment Mode: Online through GRAS / CSC-SPV

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

  • Minimum Age: 40 Years (State Commission – Non Judicial Member)
  • Minimum Age: 35 Years (District Commission Member)
  • Maximum Age: 65 Years

Eligibility

  • Candidates must have completed Graduation in regular mode from a UGC recognized institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree obtained through distance mode will not be considered.
  • Applicants must be persons of ability, integrity, and standing.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in consumer affairs, law, public affairs, administration, economics, commerce, industry, finance, management, engineering, technology, public health, or medicine.

Salary / Pay Scale

  • Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- per month
  • Grade Pay: Rs. 17,500/- (State Commission)
  • Grade Pay: Rs. 15,700/- (District Commission)
  • Other allowances as admissible under Assam State Government rules.
