- Last Date for Fee Payment: 13 January 2026 (23:55 Hours)
- Correction Window: 14 January 2026 to 16 January 2026 23:55 Hours.
- Date of Tier-I CBT Exam: To be announced on DRDO website.
Application Fee
- STA-B: General / OBC / EWS / MSP: Rs. 750/- Women / SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 500/-
- Technician-A: General / OBC / EWS / MSP: Rs. 600/- Women / SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 500/-
- Refundable Fee: Rs. 500/- will be refunded only to candidates who appear in Tier-I CBT.
- Payment Mode: Online payment through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 Years, OBC 3 Years, PwBD 10–15 Years, and as per Government of India rules.
Eligibility
- STA-B: B.Sc. or 3-Year Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
- Tech-A: 10th Pass + ITI Certificate in relevant trade.
- Candidates with higher qualifications (M.Sc., B.Tech, B.E., Ph.D., etc.) are not eligible.
- Result awaiting candidates are not eligible.
- Physical/Medical standards as per DRDO norms.
- Only Indian citizens are eligible.
Salary / Stipend
- Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
- Technician-A (Tech-A): Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
- Additional benefits: DA, HRA, TA, Medical facilities, CSD, LTC, NPS, Children Education Allowance, etc.
