Eligibility
- Degree from a recognised University with Hindi and English as elective subjects.
- Minimum 2 years experience in translation work from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
- Nationality: Citizen of India / Subject of Nepal / Bhutan / Tibetan refugee (before 01-01-1962) / Person of Indian origin from specified countries with intention of permanent settlement.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (LV, D, HH, OA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, MDy, ASD, SLD, MI and multiple disabilities) can apply as per eligibility.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Basic Pay: Rs. 41,800/- in the pay scale of Rs. 41,800 – 1,17,600
- Approx. Total Emoluments: Rs. 48,000/- per month
- HRA: Admissible if not residing in MbPA quarters
- Other allowances as per Mumbai Port Authority norms
