Eligibility Criteria
- Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Minimum 7 years practice in criminal law. Must have handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Courts. Excellent knowledge of criminal law, legal research, ethics, communication skills & IT proficiency.
- Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: 0–3 years practice in criminal law. Good communication, research & writing skills. Understanding of defense counsel ethics and high IT proficiency.
- Qualification: Law Graduate (LLB), Enrolled with Bar Council, Experience in Criminal Law.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 60,000/- Per Month
- Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 35,000/- Per Month
- Job Type: Contract Basis
