Application Fee
- No Application Fee – Assam Police Constable recruitment is free for all candidates.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Born not earlier than 01-01-2001 and not later than 01-01-2008.
Eligibility
- Constable (UB): HS or Class XII from a recognized Board.
- Constable (AB): HSLC or Class X from a recognized Board.
- Candidates with Higher Secondary and above may apply for both branches with preference order.
- Must be an Indian Citizen & Permanent Resident of Assam.
- Must be registered in a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
- Must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Pay Scale
- ₹14,000 – 70,000/- per month
- Grade Pay: ₹5,600/-
- Other Allowances as admissible under rules
- Pension benefits will be applicable as per existing policy
