Short Information: The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Barnala has released a public notice for the recruitment of 25 Clerks and 07 Stenographer Grade-III (Adhoc) posts. The appointments will be on an adhoc basis for six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court. Eligibility

  • For Clerk: Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree + Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject + Computer proficiency (Word Processing, Spreadsheet).
  • For Stenographer Grade-III: Graduation + shorthand speed of 80 W.P.M. in English + transcription speed of 20 W.P.M. + Computer proficiency.

Selection Process

  • Clerk: Written Test (English Composition – 50 Marks, General Knowledge – 50 Marks, 33% qualifying marks in each) + Computer Proficiency Test.
  • Stenographer: Shorthand Test + Computer Proficiency Test.

Pay Scale

  • Fixed Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 29,200/- (as per Punjab & Haryana High Court norms).
