Eligibility
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 3 Years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- Technician C: SSLC + ITI + One Year Apprenticeship or SSLC + 3 Years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course.
Pay Scale
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Rs. 24,500 – 3% – Rs. 90,000/- + admissible allowances (Grade: WG-VII)
- Technician C: Rs. 21,500 – 3% – Rs. 82,000/- + admissible allowances (Grade: WG-IV)

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) held at Chennai.
- CBT will consist of two parts:
- Part I – General Aptitude: 50 Marks (Reasoning, Analytical, GK, Data Interpretation, etc.)
- Part II – Technical Aptitude: 100 Marks (Discipline-specific Questions)
- Admit Cards/Call Letters will be available on the BEL website. No hard copy or email will be sent.
