Pay Examination Fee
- General / OBC (NCL): ₹1,000 (One Paper), ₹1,200 (Both Papers)
- SC / ST / PwBD: ₹500 (One Paper), ₹600 (Both Papers)
Age Limit
- No age limit for CTET examination.
- Candidate must fulfill eligibility criteria as per CBSE / NCTE norms.
Eligibility
- Paper I (Classes 1 to 5):
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks (Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)
- 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed / 2-year Diploma in Special Education
- Paper II (Classes 6 to 8):
- Graduation with 50% marks (Relaxation applicable for reserved categories)
- B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education / 4-year integrated B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
Pay Scale
- CTET is an eligibility test—no fixed pay scale.
- Qualifying CTET enables candidates for teaching posts in Central/Recognized schools.
