Eligibility

- Essential experience: Analogous Pay Level 16 or 5 years combined experience in Pay Levels 14 & 15 managing a large scientific community or heading a reputed scientific institution.
- Excellent publication record, leadership qualities, national/international recognition, and project implementation experience are mandatory.
- Desirable: Experience in government administration, financial matters, and managerial experience in large research laboratories.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay Level 16 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
- Additional allowances as admissible under Government of India rules.
