Eligibility
- Post graduate degree in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology / Child Development OR
- Graduate degree with a minimum of three years of experience in child education, child development, or child protection issues.
- As per Rule 5(6) of POCSO Rules 2020, organizations working in child rights or child protection can also act as Support Person entities.
- An official of a children’s home or shelter home having custody of the child may be eligible to act as Support Person.
- A person employed by the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and working in the field of child rights / child protection may also function as Support Person.
- The applicant should belong to District Pathankot as specified in the recruitment notice.
Honorarium / Pay Scale
- Honorarium: Rs. 600/- per visit for services rendered in connection with POCSO cases.
- No fixed monthly salary will be paid; engagement is purely on honorarium basis.
- Allowances will be admissible strictly as per guidelines issued by the Government of India and State Government from time to time.
- Empanelment does not confer any status of regular government employment or entitlement to additional benefits beyond the notified honorarium.
