Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science / Library Science from a recognized university.
- Basic knowledge of computer application as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen as per rules.
Salary / Stipend
- Library Clerk (Class-3): First 5 years – Rs. 26,000/- per month (Fixed Pay)
- After 5 years – Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- (Level-2, 7th Pay Commission)
- Assistant Librarian (Class-3): First 5 years – Rs. 26,000/- per month (Fixed Pay)
- After 5 years – Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- (Level-4, 7th Pay Commission)
- Other allowances and benefits as per government rules.
