Age Limit

Eligibility
- B.Tech: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
- B.Pharmacy: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry along with Mathematics/Biology with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
- MBA / MBA (T&HM): Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- MCA: Graduation with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- M.Sc. Physics: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- M.Sc. Environmental Sciences: Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Pharmacy or related field with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

HPCET 2026: Exam Pattern
- B.Tech & B.Pharmacy: 150 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Total marks: 600. Duration: 3 Hours 15 Minutes. Negative marking: -1.
- MBA / MCA / MBA (T&HM): 75 MCQs from VARC, DILR, and Quantitative Aptitude. Total marks: 300. Duration: 2 Hours. Negative marking: -1.
- M.Sc. Programs: 100 MCQs with total 100 marks. Duration: 2 Hours. Negative marking: -0.25.
- Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen-and-Paper Based).
How to Apply for HPCET 2026
- Visit the official website – himtu.ac.in
- Click on the “Register” option under One Time Registration (OTR).
- Create your account using Aadhaar and obtain a Unique Him Access ID.
- Log in and update your profile with personal details and qualifications.
- Upload photograph and signature.
- Select the course from the “Courses List” section and click on Apply.
- Fill the HPCET 2026 application form carefully.
- Submit the form and pay the application fee online.
- Download and save the final application form for future reference.
