Short Information: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Agniveervayu (Sports) Intake 02/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. Outstanding unmarried Indian male sportspersons can apply online from 23 March 2026 to 29 March 2026 through the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Recruitment trials will be conducted from 08 April 2026 to 10 April 2026 in New Delhi.

Age Limit
- Candidate must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- Maximum Age on Enrolment: 21 Years
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Eligibility
- 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks.
- OR 3 Years Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
- OR 2 Years Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics with 50% marks.
- Candidate must have recognised National/International level sports achievements.
Physical & Medical Standards
- Minimum Height: 152 cm
- Chest: 77 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion
- Physical Fitness Test: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes
- Additional Tests: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats
- Vision Standard: 6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6
Salary & Benefits (Agniveer Package)
- 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month
- 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month
- 70% salary paid in-hand and 30% contributed to Agniveer Corpus Fund with equal contribution by Government of India.
