- Selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE)
- Or selection process through National level exams conducted by Central Govt. Departments/Agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, MoE, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.)
Pay Scale
- Rs. 37,000/- per month (as per rules)
