Mumbai Port Authority Sports Trainee Notification Details

Eligibility

Have represented in the respective sports in the following year (2019-20,2020-21,2021-22, 2022-23) or have represented the country in any International Competition/State in National Competition/University team in any National Competition/Represented the University in Inter-University Tournament organized by the University Sports Control Board.

Opening Date for Submission of Apply Offline: 19 July 2023.
Closing Date for Submission of Apply Offline: 26 July 2023.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs.200/- by Demand Draft in favour of “Mumbai Port Trust Sports Club” Payable at Mumbai.

Pay Scale

Sports Trainee Stipend = Rs. 14,000/- per month II) Kit = Rs. 10000/- per annum III) Accommodation = On sharing basis. (at free of cost) IV) Mediclaim + Accident Insurance = Rs. 7000/- for a year.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 Years.
Maximum Age: 25 Years as of 1 July 2023.
No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible.

Selection Process

Announcement & Application: Port Authority announces Sports Trainee posts and invites applications. Screening: Screening of applications for basic eligibility criteria.
Sports Test: Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a sports test and evaluation. Medical Fitness Test: Candidates have to pass the Medical Fitness Test by the Chief Medical Officer.
Surety Bond Agreement: Selected candidates have to sign a surety bond of Rs.10000.
Temporary Contractual Assignment: Successful candidates are appointed as Sports Trainees on temporary contractual assignment, without the right of regularisation.
