Eligibility
- For Backward Tribes: Minimum Class 6th Passed
- For Indigenous Naga Tribes: Minimum Class 8th Passed
- Qualification must be from NBSE or equivalent board recognized in India.
Physical Standards
- Male: Height – 162 cm (Minimum); Chest – 78 cm (Normal), 83 cm (Expanded)
- Female: Height – 152 cm (Minimum); Chest – 74 cm (Normal), 79 cm (Expanded)
- Weight should be proportionate to height as per medical standards.
Medical Fitness
- Candidates will undergo medical examination for Height, Weight, Chest, Eye Sight, Colour Blindness, Varicose Veins, etc.
- Opioid and Alcohol Abuse Test will be conducted; those testing positive will be disqualified.
- Female candidates will undergo a pregnancy test; training will be deferred if tested positive.
Selection Process
- Physical/Medical Standards Test
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Written Examination (80 Questions, 40 Marks, Duration – 2 Hours)
- Interview
- Final Merit List based on PET, Written Test, NCC Certificate, and Interview performance.
Pay Scale
- Level – 3 (GP-1800): As per Nagaland Police Pay Matrix along with admissible allowances.
