Eligibility
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from a recognized University.
- Proficiency in Computer operation (Word Processing and Spread Sheets).
- SC/ST/BC reservation applicable only for candidates domiciled in Punjab, Haryana, or UT Chandigarh.
- Persons with less than 40% Lower Limb Disability considered under General Category.
- No age relaxation benefit for contract/ad hoc employees.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Salary as per latest applicable rules of Government of Punjab adopted by the High Court.
- Pay structure will be as per rules applicable to employees of Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Selection Process
- Word Processing / Transcription Test: Dictation at 100 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and transcription on computer at 20 w.p.m. (5 minutes duration). Maximum 3% mistakes allowed. Merit based on this test.
- Spread Sheets Test: 10 marks (Qualifying in nature – Minimum 40% or 4 marks required).
- Checking of Original Testimonials.
- Category-wise Merit List preparation based on performance in Word Processing/Transcription Test.
