RBI Driver Vacancy Notification Details

Eligibility

  • Candidates should have passed 10th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution.
  • The candidate should be Domicile within the Recruitment Zone of the Mumbai Office of RBI, viz. State of Maharashtra (excluding Vidarbha* region), Goa and Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
  • *Only Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates from the Vidarbha region can apply for this post. iii. The candidate should be an undergraduate on 01/03/2023.
  • Note: Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree and candidates possessing higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
  • A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category should have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C./ Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defense service, provided they have
    not graduated outside the Armed Forces.
  • Candidates applying for the post should be proficient in the local language i.e. Marathi (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language).
  • Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years experience as a Driver and a good driving record. He should be able to attend to minor repairs. Candidate should possess a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).

  • Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 16 April 2023.
  • Schedule of Online Test (Tentative): In the month of APRIL/MAY 2023.

Pay Scale

  • Drivers will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.17270/- per month on the scale of 17270 -590(4) – 19630- 690(3) – 21700 -840(3) – 24220 -1125(2) – 26470- 1400 (4) -32070-1900(3) – 37770 (20 years) and other allowances viz. Dearness Allowance, City
    Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 28 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years.
  • (Born not earlier than 02/03/1988 and not later than 01/03/1995 (both days including) are only eligible to apply).

Pay Details

  •  Driver Post Pay Scale As per the pay matrix issued under 7 th Central Pay Commission, the minimum admissible pay would be 21700/-, subject to the condition that instructions issued by the State Government vide Letter No.7/204/2012-4FP1/60 dated 15.01.2015 and No.7/204/2012-4FP1/853793 dated 04.10.2016 shall be applicable mutatis mutandis.

Test Centres

  • Online Test may be held at the Mumbai/Thane and/or Navi Mumbai/MMR center.
