Short Information: The School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh has started the RTE MP Admission 2026-27 process for Nursery, KG (LKG/UKG) and Class 1 under the Right to Education (RTE) Act 2009. Through this scheme, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Disadvantaged Groups (DG) children can get free admission in private unaided schools across Madhya Pradesh. Eligible parents can apply online from 13 March 2026 to 28 March 2026 through the official website rteportal.mp.gov.in.

Age Limit (as per RTE Guidelines)
- Nursery / KG: Approximately 3 – 6 Years
- Class 1: Approximately 6 – 7.5 Years
- Age will be calculated as per the official notification cut-off date.
Eligibility
- Children belonging to EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) or DG (Disadvantaged Groups).
- Families must provide valid income / BPL / caste / disability certificates.
- Child must live within the neighbourhood area of the selected school.
