Geologist: PG Degree in Geological Science, Geology, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, or Earth Science from any recognized university in India.
Geophysicist: PG Degree in Science, Physics, Marine Geophysics, or Any Equivalent Degree.

Chemist (Group A): PG Degree in Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry from any recognized university in India.
Scientist B (Hydrogeology, Chemical, Geophysics): PG Degree in Geology or Marine Geology or Any Degree in any Recognized University in India.
